Estimated landed cost

Estimate only. Customs rules change — on 1 July 2026 the EU ended the duty-free allowance for parcels under €150 (replaced until July 2028 by a €3-per-item-type duty). Duty over €150 depends on the exact product (and for UK orders, on whether the goods are UK-made — those are 0%); books and children’s clothing are VAT-zero-rated in Ireland, while this estimate uses the standard 23%. Always confirm with Revenue or the carrier before you buy.

How the estimate works

Orders shipped from outside the EU — which since Brexit includes Great Britain but not Northern Ireland — are treated as imports. Ireland charges 23% VAT on most goods regardless of value, plus customs duty when the customs value is over €150 (UK-made goods are 0% under the trade deal), and a handling fee from An Post (€6.95) or the courier when charges weren’t collected at checkout. Orders from inside the EU already include VAT and carry no customs duty, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Duty rates vary by the exact product, so the category options here are indicative starting points — see the full import charges guide for the detail, and check which stores actually ship to Ireland before you order.
