Is OroScout free?
Yes, completely free for shoppers. No sign-up required, no fees. You pay the store's normal price; using OroScout never adds a cent.
Are you a store?
No, OroScout is a search tool, not a shop. We don't sell, hold inventory, take payments, or handle returns. You check out on the retailer's own site (eBay, Etsy, AliExpress…), and they handle payment, shipping, and support.
How does OroScout make money?
When you click through and buy, the store may pay a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's our only income; we never charge shoppers.
Do you accept advertising?
No. In fact, we strip out sponsored listings from stores, too. We also don't rank based on commissions — we order products based on what's best for you. See how we rank →
How do I know if something will ship to my country?
Set your country in "Ship to" (we also guess from your browser); we focus results on items that deliver there and drop the ones we can see won't. We base this on what the store tells us, so it's not 100%.
How often are prices updated?
Depends on the store: some are searched live as you type; others come from catalogs refreshed about once a day. The final live price is on the store's checkout page.
How do you calculate exchange rates?
They're based on the European Central Bank's daily reference rates, which we update daily. You pay the store's price in its own currency, and your bank or card may add a foreign-transaction fee.
Why aren't all stores listed?
We're new. Stores join one at a time, and many prefer sites with a large audience, so we add each as they become willing to work with us. Some don't like having their prices compared to other stores and may never be willing to join OroScout. More on building OroScout →
Can I suggest a store?

Do I need an account?
No account needed. An optional free account saves your language, ship-to country, and other preferences, and syncs them across your devices. It also gives you access to our AI assistant that helps you target your searches. Happy shopping!
What about my privacy?
