Estimate only. Customs rules change — on 1 July 2026 the EU ended the duty-free allowance for parcels under €150 (replaced until July 2028 by a €3-per-category duty). VAT is calculated on goods + shipping + insurance (+ the duty); duty over €150 depends on the exact product, and parcels over €1,000 need a clearing agent. Always confirm with Cyprus Customs or the carrier before you buy.
How the estimate works
Orders shipped from outside the EU are treated as imports. Cyprus charges 19% VAT on every non-EU parcel regardless of value (since 2021), calculated on the goods plus shipping and insurance, plus customs duty when the customs value is over €150, and a €3.50 handling fee from Cyprus Post when charges weren’t collected at checkout (paid via the THALISUPP portal — pay before arrival and the parcel can qualify for home delivery). Orders from inside the EU already include VAT and carry no customs duty.
